ASDF's Giving Tree: Helping children & family's affected by autism

Welcome to ASDF’s Giving Tree

The goal of the Giving Tree is to provide financial
assistance to children with Autism and their families
for a specific need or wish. We take pride in providing
personal attention to each family in helping them meet
their diverse special needs.

Our Giving Tree offers a wide range of help, at no
charge, to lift the spirit and enhance the quality of
life. We offer financial opportunities for social,
educational, recreation and other critical support
programs for autistic children and families.

ASDF partners with state Autism chapters in
helping to locate and assist families in need. As
the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation grows,
it will allow us to help more families throughout the
United States.

Ryan's Story

My son Ryan was diagnosed with autism, and in an instant our lives were changed forever. As my family and I were confronted with this diagnosis, I began my own research and found that autism affects more children than cancer, AIDS, and diabetes combined! I was shocked to find how common autism was among young children. I was immediately concerned for Ryan as he loves water and has never had swimming lessons. It was then that I found the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation (ASDF).

I shared my concern for Ryan with the foundation and through the generous donations they receive, they helped fund the swimming lessons so our family could focus on Ryan and not worry about our financial situation. He has taken 3 lessons so far and is making tremendous progress. Even more priceless is the peace of mind that these lessons have given me since they could save his life some day.
